CS 1.6 Gold Edition
A guide to packages distributed under the Gold Edition name. Compare their stated visual and configuration changes before choosing one for your Counter-Strike 1.6 installation.
What distinguishes this edition
Gold Edition is not a guarantee of a standard feature set and should not be confused with GoldClient. Identify the particular package and maintainer, then review its contents and requirements without assuming that another similarly named archive is equivalent.
Before installing
- Back up your cstrike settings and personal maps.
- Keep modified editions in separate folders.
- Compare archive contents and requirements before replacing files.
